About this conversion
MicroDVD .sub files are frame-based (`{startFrame}{endFrame}`) rather than time-based, so they drift out of sync on any video at a different frame rate. Converting to SRT turns the frame ranges into real timestamps so the subtitles stay aligned. (v1 assumes ~23.976 fps; a frame-rate selector is on the roadmap.)
